01

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Remora Platform. By creating an account or using Remora, you agree to these Terms.

02

Use of Services

Users and businesses are solely responsible for the content they create, tasks they publish, and actions they take on the platform. Remora does not guarantee task outcomes, engagement results, or business performance.

03

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information from you when you visit our website, register for an account, or interact with our services. This information may include your name, email address, contact details, and any other information you voluntarily provide to us.

04

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

05

Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
  • All activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms or harm the platform.

06

Nature of the Platform

  • Remora operates as an independent technology platform that connects businesses with users.
  • Remora is not an employer of any user, and is not a recruitment, talent, or marketing agency.
  • Where these Terms authorise Remora to review, approve, or reject task submissions, Remora exercises that authority independently and in its own right as operator of the Platform, applying the Platform rules together with the task instructions supplied by the business.
  • In carrying out that review Remora does not act for, represent, or advocate the interests of either the business or the user.
07

Platform Use

You agree not to:

  • Break local laws using the Platform
  • Create fake tasks or fake influencer engagements
  • Use bots, automation, or fraudulent activities
  • Interfere with Remora systems or security
08

Tasks & Earnings

  • Payment is issued only when tasks are completed and approved according to instructions.
  • Remora reserves the right to reject submissions that fail verification.
  • Payout processing depends on the selected payment method.
09

Task Creation & Review

  • Businesses must provide truthful, lawful, and complete task instructions.
  • Businesses agree to fund tasks before they go live.
  • Remora may decline tasks that violate guidelines or laws.
  • Review authority. All task submissions are reviewed by Remora. Businesses do not review, approve, or reject submissions directly. By funding a task and submitting it for publication, a business authorises Remora to review submissions against that task’s instructions and to determine whether they are approved or rejected.
  • Basis of review. Remora reviews only whether the user followed the task instructions supplied by the business. Remora does not assess creative quality, commercial performance, or a business’s satisfaction with the result. Because submissions are assessed against the instructions as written, businesses should state all requirements clearly and completely when creating a task.
  • Timing. Remora aims to complete reviews within two (2) business days. This is a target and not a guarantee. If a submission has not been reviewed within that period, contact support@joinremora.com.
  • Approved submissions. Where a submission is approved, the task amount is credited to the user’s wallet and deducted from the funds the business allocated to that task.
  • Rejected submissions and appeals. Where a submission is rejected, the user may appeal for a second review. If the appeal succeeds, the submission is approved and the user is credited. If the appeal is unsuccessful, the task amount is returned to the business’s wallet. Funds allocated to a task remain allocated until the review, and any appeal, has concluded.
  • Disputes. A business that believes a submission was approved in error may raise a dispute by emailing support@joinremora.com.
  • Finality. Remora’s determination following review, appeal, or dispute is final.
10

Payments & Third-Party Providers

All payments on Remora are processed through third-party payment providers. Remora does not directly process, store, or control payment credentials such as card details, bank accounts, or mobile money information.

By using Remora, you agree to be bound by the terms and policies of the applicable payment providers.

Fees & Subscriptions

  • Remora charges service fees and/or commissions.
  • Subscriptions don't renew automatically.
  • Payout processing fees may apply for mobile money or bank withdrawals.
11

Wallet & Platform Balances

Remora may display account balances for users and businesses to reflect earnings, task allocations, or available funds. These balances are virtual records only and do not constitute bank deposits, stored value accounts, or financial instruments.

Remora does not hold funds on behalf of users or businesses. All underlying funds are managed by third-party payment providers.

Access to wallet balances and withdrawals is subject to task completion, administrative approval, and compliance checks.

12

Payouts & Withdrawals

Payouts are initiated after successful task completion and approval. Processing times may vary depending on the selected payout method and third-party payment provider.

Remora may apply transaction or processing fees where applicable. Any such fees will be communicated prior to withdrawal.

Remora reserves the right to delay, review, or decline payouts in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of platform policies.

If a task is rejected, abandoned, or invalidated, no payment will be made, and funds may be returned to the originating business account.

Remora is not a bank, financial institution, or money transmission service.

13

Fraud & Platform Integrity

Remora reserves the right to suspend accounts, reverse transactions, or withhold payouts where fraudulent activity, abuse, or manipulation of the platform is suspected.

14

Intellectual Property

All content on Remora—including logos, design, copy, and technology—is owned by Remora Digital. Users may not copy, redistribute, or exploit the platform.

15

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You misuse the platform
  • You violate these Terms
  • Fraud is detected

You may delete your account at any time.

16

Disclaimer

Remora is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific earnings.

17

Limitation of Liability

Remora is not responsible for:

  • Loss of income
  • User disputes
  • Content posted on external social networks
  • Technical errors beyond our control
18

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
